Ori and the Blind Forest: Fan Art!

Hello and welcome to another spotlight on fan art from Ori and the Blind Forest! I’m going rogue and changing the name of this article series from “Last Week in Ori and the Blind Forest” to something a little more on point. Let’s save the “Last Week” title for other updates.

This week we are going to spotlight fan art that gives a focus to Kuro’s owlets. (Aww!) The owlets look a lot like their mother, Kuro. They have dark indigo feathers with a lighter spotted belly. They have bright orange eyes with brown pupils. Super cute and somewhat fluffy, they appear innocent and dependent on their mother owl. These 3 owlets appear in a flashback scene in Ori and the Blind Forest.

Artist Allison Bair shared a lovely art piece involving Kuro and her owlets on her Twitter (@BrownBair). Untitled, this piece depicts a touching moment within this owl family of Kuro protecting her whimsical and curious hatch-lings. The mystical blue lighting really compliments the warm glow of the orange in this art!

Another fantastic piece including the warm glow of fiery eyes is “Owlet Kuro” by Deviant Art artist, KamoFalcon. The artist writes,”After 600~ deaths..I completed the Ori and the Blind forest. That was amazing…but other than owls nothing more I can do… Assume that this Kuro’s owlet.”

Shifting to a lighter, playful vibe is a piece titled, “Ori and the Blind Forest” found on kikkiart.tumblr.com. This art is simply adorable and full of love. Look at those eyes! And a sweet, cuddly Ori as well. All the feels!

Let’s wrap up this blog with a sibling showcase; Kuro’s egg. The sweeping light and the intensity of focus from Kuro captures how important this little speckled egg is. This piece was created by Deviant Art artist OoYumeoO who comments, “I love this game!! it’s so cute and good! excellent soundtrack and visual graphics!”

That’s it for this week! Do you have some Ori fan art you would like to share? Do you have a favorite character or theme to the game? Let us know and we could give it a shout out!
